Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week Breakfast
Celebrate the Parkland Magnet Middle School staff during the 2026 Staff Appreciation week on Monday, May 4th, with a continental breakfast and on Wednesday, May 6th, with pastries and coffee.
Families in the Parkland community are encouraged to purchase items from the list to create awesome breakfasts for staff members. Most items are available at the neighborhood Safeway, Giant or Aldi.

We will receive the food donations beginning at 7am on Monday and Wednesday. Please leave your food on the cart that will be outside the front door of the school.

Principal’s Coffee
This will be a hybrid meeting meaning families can join Principal Shin for a pastries and coffee in the school cafeteria or can join over Zoom using the link in the Parkland Newsletter or the Parkland website. Please note that the same Principal’s Coffee will be held Spanish speaking families on Thursday, September 5 from 8:45-9:30 am.
6th Grade Orientation
Session 4: Parkland Magnet Middle School is welcoming incoming 6th grade students and families. There will be a morning and afternoon session available on two separate dates: 7/24 and 8/8 at 10 - 11:30 a.m. (morning session), or 1 - 2:30 p.m. (afternoon session)
