Welcome to Parkland Magnet Middle School’s PTSA
There are complex challenges facing students today. A Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a non-profit organization comprised of engaged parents, students, and interested staff that work together to create a sense of connection and community at a school. A PTSA plays a pivotal role in supporting programs and events at the school.
Mitigating learning loss, mental health incidents, are additional challenges that schools now have to solve. A Parkland PTSA that includes ALL of us can work towards helping our students feel more connected with each other and supporting the staff. With enough funds and volunteers, we can plan additional social events for our students, provide scholarships, create new enrichment and academic activities, support Parkland teachers, and provide parents with relevant resources. When parents join and advocate for the needs of ALL children, they also help THEIR child succeed.
